Holding Tightly & Bearing with Patience
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy... - John 10:10 (AMP)
He came walking across the parking lot pushing a baby stroller. Riding inside was a baby boy with no clothes, about a year old. As the man was further across the lot and had passed the cart corral, he stopped the stroller and knocked it over on purpose. Then, he picked it up, looked around to see if anyone was watching, and knocked it over again. Then, he took the baby out of the stroller and put him in a car seat in the back of an SUV, closed the door, and walked away. He entered a different vehicle and proceeded to drive away.
I immediately went to the SUV to get the baby out, and I held and comforted him.
This was a dream I had in the midst of believing God for something incredible. I was having to wait for this promise, and the wait was causing doubt about his will. God gave me this dream to show me what was happening.
Symbolism
Store = Thing(s) God has "in store" for me; a storehouse
Man = Enemy (Satan)
Baby Boy = Word of God in my life
Nakedness = Vulnerability/Uncovering
Pushing of the stroller/baby out of the store = STEALING the Word of God in my life
Knocking over the stroller = DESTROYING (belief in) the Word in my life through psychological warfare and abuse/torment
Leaving the baby in the back of a non-running car = KILLING (He left it to die)
Business Suit on the man = Job/Business
God was encouraging me to hold fast to the word he had spoken to me of things to come. He was reminding me that the ONLY job/business of Satan is to steal, destroy, and kill, and this was what was shown in the dream, correlating back to scripture.
In Luke 8:11-12, Jesus says: "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe ..." (KJVS).
"But as for that seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word with a good and noble heart, and hold on to it tightly, and bear fruit with patience" (Luke 8:15 - AMP).
I encourage you to hold tightly to the word of God in your life and don't let go.
